Bow Buddies Music to Host First In-Person Event!

Hi Everyone!

Although Bow Buddies Music began in 2020, and has hosted many workshops and events since, none have been in-person. However, on May 28th, from 10:30 to 11:30 am, Bow Buddies is having an Early Childhood Instrument "Petting Zoo" at the Museum on Main in Downtown Pleasanton!

Younger students, children, and families will have the opportunity to visit different stations and interact with student musicians and their various instruments. We aim to inspire more children to start playing music, and this event will hopefully expose them to various instruments they didn't know about!

Families or children who wish to attend the event do not need to pre-register. The location of the event is the Museum on Main, which is located at 603 Main St, Pleasanton, CA 94566.

In order to provide the most variety of musical instruments possible to present to the visiting children, we need students to volunteer their time to present! The presenting student would be at their own little table or booth, and would demonstrate how their instrument sounds, and show how it works to the little kids! We would prefer if presenting music students could be between grades 7 and 12, but please email if you fall outside of this range and are still interested. We are only planning to have about 1 or 2 students for each instrument, so sign ups are first come, first serve. To learn more and sign up for presenting at the event, please click here.
